Call for Contributors: How Yoga Changed My Life.

Are you a yoga practitioner or instructor with a story to tell? Has yoga transformed your life, healed you, or helped you discover your true path? With Hearts and Sails Author Services, I invite you to share your unique experience through anthology, a collection of stories celebrating the profound impact of yoga.

What We’re Looking For:

• Personal stories of transformation through yoga
• Insights into how yoga inspired you to become an instructor (if applicable)
• Reflections on how yoga has impacted your physical, emotional, or spiritual well-being
• Lessons learned from your yoga journey that others can relate to or be inspired by
• Two Photos – a headshot and a yoga pose

Why Contribute?

• Become a Published Author: Have your story featured in an e-book and paperback available on Amazon and other major online retailers
• Inspire Others: Your story could motivate someone to begin their own yoga journey and learn from you.
• Grow Your Reach: As a contributor, you’ll be featured in a published book shared with yoga enthusiasts worldwide.
• Connect with a Community: Connect with other contributors to support each other on this project.
• Sell or gift your author copies: Participate at book sales, sell books in your studio, or give them as gifts

Guidelines:

• Word count: 2,000 – 3,000 words per chapter
• Format: Microsoft Word or Google Docs
• Cost – $450 (Half at the start of the project, and half after editing) plus the print and shipping cost of any author copies of paperbacks (increments of 10)
• Submission due – 5/1/2025, tentative publishing date – 9/1/2025

• Support with writing the chapter
• Cover design, editing. proofreading, and formatting to create a high-quality book accessible to readers worldwide (e-book and paperback)
• Distribution through Amazon and other online retailers
• Author copies through KDP (print/shipping costs per KDP)
